Introduction

Description:
Research, design, and production of a mobile and desktop application that helps users calculate the investment costs of various citizenship-by-investment funds.

Context:
In recent years, the citizenship-by-investment industry has significantly expanded and become more standardized. As a result, potential clients have increasingly demanded more accessible and easy-to-obtain information.

My Role:
I collaborated with the digital marketing manager in the conceptualization and proposal of the tool. I was fully responsible for the design and production of the application, and once approved, I worked closely with the web developer during its development phase.

Tools:
Photoshop / Illustrator / Figma

The Problem

Each week, within the team, we realized and analyzed the complexity of understanding the entire cost process and its various phases. This made it difficult for potential clients to decide to invest, as they lacked the necessary knowledge to make informed decisions.

Investigation

In order to find a solution to facilitate and digest all the information, we conducted different surveys with potential clients. After each call that the sales team received, the potential client was asked what their problem was when it came to understanding and digesting all the information. With all this, we confirmed that the difficulties they encountered were always the same. The first was the lack of understanding of the product, and the second was the complexity of the process and the different cost and payment methods required to obtain citizenship.

The Proposal

After analyzing the issues and considering different options, we decided to simplify the information into three steps that would help users obtain and digest the information easily and effectively.

Step 1: Family Structure
In this step, users can select family members such as a spouse, children, siblings, and parents. For each family member, users input their age and quantity.

Step 2: Choose the Best Program and Option
Once the family members are selected, users proceed to choose the citizenship program and the option within that program that interests them the most.

Step 3: Calculate Costs
Finally, the client simply clicks the "Calculate" button, and after a few seconds, a table with all the detailed costs will appear. The user also has the option to go back, change both the program and the option, or add more programs to compare costs.

After these three main steps, the user will have the option to download the table as a PDF and make an inquiry if needed.

Use flow - architecture

In the following infographic we can see the map in which the user will navigate through the application.

Structure

In the following image, we can observe the structure and layout of how the application will appear in mobile device format.

Color palette and fonts

For the interface design, we decided to continue with the same image that the brand has, prioritizing black on this occasion and playing with different shades of gray to create boundaries between the sections, with the aim of emphasizing and highlighting certain actions.

Final Result

The final result is a simple, elegant and intuitive design. The chosen structure makes the information synthesized and easy to process. The fact that the brand has also been implemented in this application creates a connection that makes it easier for the user to get to know it and navigate through the website in order to get in touch.
