Proposal for Two Brand Identities for the Samoa Citizenship Investment Committee
Proposal 1
Logo Concept, Selected Colors, and Typography
In a clear reference to its rich tribal heritage, I have selected the shape of the sun as the foundational element for the logo in this first brand proposal. The sun is universally recognized, which aids in brand identification. It is a powerful element that illuminates wherever it is seen.
Brand Objectives and Values
Given the high cost of investment, the brand values must represent credibility, strength, and prestige to encourage investors to choose this program. To add a more classic touch, a pattern has been created to infuse prestige and sophistication that helps the client believe in the product.
These combined elements make it easy to create various compositions through the brand's components. The typography is classic, serif, and legible, while the color palette consists of shades of burgundy (derived from their flag and coat of arms) with a touch of green, representing the power that citizenship grants on the island of Samoa after investing in it.
Through the different brand elements, various landscapes of the island can be appreciated, serving as a hook to attract the audience.
Proposal 2
Logo Concept, Selected Colors, and Typography
In this second proposal, I have added a shield alongside the sun, clearly referencing the country’s history through this element. The shield represents the core values of the brand, such as heritage, antiquity, and prestige. The two elements have been merged to form the final logo. This can be used in black or white ink and/or on different backgrounds.
The color blue is the chosen hue in this instance; similar to the first proposal, various shades of blue are utilized to reference the brand's trust and exclusivity.
I have enhanced both galleries of images to create greater impact and visual harmony for the audience. Both blue filters and patterns are implemented across the remaining corporate identity elements, creating an easily identifiable connection among them.
